Midsomer Norton’s Christmas Lights will be turned on this evening. We are already in the Christmas spirit with our tree and other decorations, and this evening , the town lights go on, too!

 

The Hollies Gardens will be at the centre of activities this evening,  with a Christmas sing-along led by choirs from local schools, starting at 6.15.

Later in the evening, Santa is expected to join the festivities, and there will be Christmas Carols, free mince pies and fruit punch, and numerous stalls selling gifts and other Christmassy goods.

 

The  Christmas lights will be switched on at 7.15pm by Royalty from Midsomer Norton Carnival

 

Don’t forget that the lower end of the high street, from Martins to the Sainsbury’s exit, will be closed from 4p.m. until 9 p.m., with a diversion via South Road onto Silver Street (don’t worry, access to our office is unaffected!)
