Marjorie Taylor, FDC Law’s Senior Partner, is going to be raising money to support the Domestic Violence Charity, Refuge, by participating in the Charity’s Cold Water Dip Challenge

Marjorie will be taking the plunge at Vobster Quays on Saturday 9th March. She says “As a family law practitioner, I often see clients who have experienced domestic abuse or violence, so this is a cause close to my heart – Sadly, around 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lives, and it can also affect men and children.  I’m hoping to raise at least £150 which could provide 15 women with initial support when they contact Refuge,  or hep fund emotional support to up to 30 children who have been affected by domestic abuse.” She added “ Last time I checked, the water temperature at Vobster Quays was 6.8°C, which is quite chilly (around 44°F)  - Wish me luck!
