UPDATE - January 2021
In light of the new lockdown, we confirm that we continue to offer our full range of services, through staff working from home and in the office in line with the current government rules and guidance.
You will continue to be able to drop off documents for us at reception, provided that you wear a mask. If you are exempt from wearing a mask then, for the protection of our staff, we will ask you to send any documents by post or e-mail as appropriate.
We will continue to operate a strict ‘one in, one out’ policy for our reception areas. If you do need to drop off documents, please be patient if you have to wait outside, and do wait for anyone in the reception area to leave before entering.
We will not be able to see clients who ‘drop in’ without an appointment – please contact the person dealing with your case by phone or e-mail before visiting the office.
We will continue to offer appointments by phone or video (Microsoft Teams) which allows us to continue to offer our full service despite the lockdown.
If you feel that a face-to-face appointment or a home visit is needed, please contact the person dealing with your case who will be able to assess whether this is needed and if so how to proceed. If a meeting is needed (for example, to sign a will) we will discuss how this can be arranged and the arrangements required e.g. masks, distancing etc.
Please note: you may see staff members in, or visiting our offices, as necessary. This is in accordance with the current rules regarding key workers involved in the administration of justice, court proceedings, conveyancing and preparing wills etc. and those rules permitting workers to attend COVID safe workspaces where necessary.
Naturally we continue to adhere to all relevant regulations and guidance and to continue to provide services to our clients.
Following the government’s announcement of a further National Lockdown starting on 5th November we confirm that as keyworkers, our offices will continue to operate as a Covid-secure workplace.
We are pleased to announce that, with effect from Monday 8th June, we shall once again be able to meet with clients directly at our offices - strictly by prior appointment, to ensure observation of all guidelines in force now, and as they change.
As many of you will know we have continued to provide our services on a ‘no contact’ basis via telephone, e-mail and video link during the period of restricted movement with staff working from home and from our offices throughout.
Our offices are now open with appropriate social distancing measures in place to ensure risks to you and our staff are minimised.
We still recommend that meetings take place by phone where this is practical. Initial enquiries should also be made by phone or email as we are always happy to call or email you back – whichever is preferred.
We will aim to keep meetings short to reduce any risk
We are of course following a strict cleaning regime. Hand sanitiser is available in reception and it’s use is required to reduce risk to all.
Please contact us if you have any questions or to request any alternative arrangements.
IF YOU HAVE, OR THINK YOU HAVE, ANY SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS, OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE WITH THE VIRUS WITHIN THE PAST 14 DAYS PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING
