Darrell Collins is a Private Client Solicitor, and is head of the Private Client Department at FDC Law. She specialises in Wills, Estates, Trusts, Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and Care Fees issues.
Darrell is a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and as such is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner. STEP is a worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations. They promote best practice, professional integrity and education for all members. Their members help families plan for their futures; from drafting a will to protecting vulnerable individuals.
She is an Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly, and is particularly interested in this area of law. An SFE Accredited Lawyer is an expert in older client law
She has been successfully handling cases for NHS funded continuing healthcare against Primary Care Trusts across the country for many years.
Darrell originally comes from South Wales, but has been living in South West England since she graduated.
She gained experience at two other firms, one in Bristol and one in Bridgwater before bringing her expertise to FDC Law.
Her interests include travel, archaeology, history and literature.
