FDC Law is very pleased to announce that we will once again be supporting the Forever Friends Appeal with its annual, RUH Will Month initiative, which runs throughout September 2017.
FDC Law was thrilled to become corporate partners for the RUH’s charity, following our fundraising support and commitment with their Will writing scheme during 2015 and 2016.
Throughout the month of September our Wills and Estate planning lawyers will waive their fees to draw up a standard Will and you, as a client, will instead make a donation (minimum £100) towards the care of patients at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
RUH Will month is not only incredibly important for supporting hundreds of patients and their families who use the services of the hospital each and every day, but it also helps to raise awareness of the importance of having an up to date Will.
The forever friends appeal say "With such wonderful support from many people in our local community over the years, they have helped us to continue the support of the charity and help fund additional equipment, research and renovations, as well as adding finishing touches and extras to complement the existing high quality of care at the hospital."
The RUH and its charity the Forever Friends Appeal are largely dependent on voluntary donations through public fundraising and also relies heavily on gifts left in Wills. We at FDC Law have chosen to support the Forever Friends Appeal again this year and are pleased to work side by side with them to raise funds by donating our time and expertise to creating Wills for our clients.
Every penny raised through Will month will go directly to the Forever Friends Appeal.
We are very proud to confirm that FDC Law has already, over the past couple of years, raised over £10,000 by donating time and expertise for this wonderful cause and we could not of done this without support from our clients - thank you!.
We invite any clients interested in making an appointment with one of our experts to prepare a Will during Will Month to contact the relevant office as soon as possible to make an appointment and mention RUH Will Month. Please note, appointments are limited so book early to be sure of being able to participate. Please mention the RUH appeal when making your appointment.
The minimum donation required to participate will be £100 for a standard* will and £150 for a joint or mirror standard* will (this is significantly less than the normal market rate charge for wills, and you are encouraged to donate more if you are able to do so)
