We have always offered a free initial consultation in relation to family matters, available by appointment at any of our offices.

However, In addition to offering an initial free consultation by appointment, either face to face or on the telephone, we are now launching our Family Surgery,  on Friday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at our Frome office at 22 Bath Street, Frome, BA11 1DL.

the 'Surgery' allows you to drop in to our office and meet with Marion Fisher, our local Family Law expert, without an appointment, to discuss your situation, free of charge.

We pride ourselves in providing support, advice and representation to help people deal with family issues, whether you are planning to move in with a new partner, coming to the end of a relationship or trying to resolve issues relating to children or finances following a divorce or relationship breakdown. 

We are able to advise on family law issues including:

• Divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, and separation
• Issues relating to contact with, or residence of, children
• Pre-nuptial, post nuptial and cohabitation agreements
• Financial issues arising out of a separation or divorce
• Domestic abuse*
• Implementation or enforcement of existing orders

Meetings at the drop-in surgery are subject to availability. If you will be travelling any distance to attend we recommend that you telephone to book an appointment for a free initial consultation.

*Please note, while we are able to offer advice about issuing involving domestic abuse or violence, we do not offer Publicly Funded services (Legal Aid)
