We enjoyed M Fest last summer, and are happy to be among the sponsors again this year.
The festival will be taking place this coming weekend, on Saturday 8th July.
Alex Davis, who is one of those organising the event, say " After the success of last year, Midsomer Norton’s very own Music Festival will also take place in the lower High Street on Saturday the 8th July between 12 noon and 9.30pm. Once again there will be two outdoor stages – the Main Stage in the High Street and the Acoustic Stage in the Hollies Garden – both packed with a range of fantastic local talent covering the best of rock, pop, reggae, ska, country, folk and more.
The Main Stage will, amongst others, feature performances from local rockers The Venezuelan Pig Rustlers and The One Tones, Jamaican reggae hero Troy Ellis and what promises to be a superb party with the fun loving Imperial Leisure. The Acoustic Stage is also packed full of local talent including an appearance from the superb JenJen - who's atmospheric music has been compared to Portishead and Thom Yorke – and the fabulous GUTS who will headline the event."
Many local pubs have also programmed complementary activities and live music in the evening throughout the day and after the outdoor stages have finished. The event is organised by the Midsomer Norton Community Trust. For more information and the latest details on the line-up head to www.midsomernortoncommunitytrust.co.uk/mfest or phone 01761 419133
