We understand that when you are splitting up from your husband, wife or civil partner finances are often tight, and to help you budget, we have introduced the option of fixed fee divorce / dissolution process.
Under the Fixed-Fee option, instead of paying at an hourly rate for the work we do for you to obtain your divorce, you will pay a set fee (+ VAT) You will also have to pay a court fee, although if you are receiving benefits or on a low income you may be able to claim a fee reduction from the court .
The fixed fee includes:
You will have face-to-face access with the person dealing with your divorce, and will also be able to speak to them by telephone or e-mail as needed. The service you receive will be the same high quality, expert, personal service which we offer to all of our clients, and unlike some providers, there are no call-centres or sales calls.
Helping us to help you:
To ensure that the process runs smoothly, you will need to help us by ensuring that we have all of the relevant information and documents. You will need to;
In addition to dealing with your divorce or dissolution, we can of course also help with dealing with issues relating to any children of the family, and with helping you to reach a financial settlement, Dealing with those issues is not part of the fixed fee divorce but can be added on if you need them, so you can work with the same person for all of the issues which need resolving. We also offer a ‘Pay as You Go’ service which allows you to access support and advice about those issues when you need it.
