We are delighted to announce that Simon Twose has joined FDC as the new head of our Residential Property Department. Simon, who will be based at the Midsomer Norton Office, takes over the role from Partner Jonathan Wood, who will be taking on  new responsibilities within the firm as FDC Law’s first Managing Partner.

 

Simon has worked in law for 18 years, and has over 12 years’ experience as a property solicitor, most recently working as part of a large team based in Bristol.

 

Simon confirmed “I’m very happy to be at FDC Law and am looking forward to maintaining, and building on,  the excellent local reputation which has been built by Jonathan Wood and by my new colleagues in the department. ”  

Simon is particularly experienced in dealing with all aspects of Residential Property. As well as buying and selling homes, he is used to dealing with Buy to Let and  Help to Buy  purchases, remortgages and equity releases,  residential leases (including setting up Management Companies for leasehold properties) Agricultural Property, and sale by Auction.

 

While not working, Simon enjoys surfing and snowboarding, and the occasional round of golf.

 

Jonathan Wood says “I am very confident in handing over leadership of the Residential Property Department to Simon, and I am looking forward to the challenges and responsibilities which  I will be taking on in my new role as Managing Partner. I hope to build on FDC Law’s reputation for quality and personal service while developing our business in providing the full range of legal services for our personal and commercial clients.”
