COVID-19 / Coronavirus

The situation regarding Covid-19 is one which is changing very rapidly and, like most businesses and individuals we are dependent on advice and information from the government.

We are committed to keeping our staff and clients safe, while continuing to provide our services to our clients, and we will of course continue to follow government guidance as it is provided.  

We will update here as the situation changes but at present, the situation for our offices and clients is as follows:

• In line with government guidance, face to face contact is to be avoided. We are however still ablse to provide advice by telephone. If you already have an appointment, we ask that  you treat it as a telephone appointment instead of coming to the office. If you need to make an appointment, call or e-mail,  simply let us have a number when you book the appointment. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can call us and we will then call you back.

• If you are not yet a client, but would like to instruct us, please get in touch by phone, e-mail or via our website, we will then arrange a telephone appointment.

• The court service has issued guidance that hearings will (save in exceptional circumstances) take place remotely.  If we are already acting for you, we will contact you in advance of any hearing to ensure that you know what to do.

• We cannot rule out the possibility that a full lock-down, as has been implemented in Italy, may be ordered here. If that happens, we will  making arrangements for key members of staff to work remotely in order to continue to provide our normal service to clients. We will update this site with further details, including contact details, in the event that a lock-down is required.
